i have an eclipse rs 99 automatic , with a star stage 1 turbo kit, no intercooler, hks blow off valve, and 2.5 inch exhaust...im running 8 pounds of boost on it...my car has 67k miles on it...and ive been turbocharged for about 2 months now, and i race my car on the weekends, and i drive to work 5 days a week, 40 miles going, and 40 miles coming back, how come my car hasnt blown up yet? how come im not having any problems, not that i want any, but why not? is my engine gifted? im running stock internals...somebody tell me whats going on..i maintain my car really good, example, oil change, filter changes, spark plugs, etc..

First of all, knock on wood. Second of all, turb your boost down to 5 or 6psi, don't push your luck man.
