this happens on my friends car who we just installed a star stage 1 with custom FMIC on. at first, the BOV "gobbled" at 7psi no matter what. definitely NOT a typical RFL sound, cause i have this blowoff valve and it doesnt do that at all. so, i loosened the cap of the BOV about 2.5 turns, and now, it "gobbles" for a second at first then get the nice WHOOSH sound the RFL is supposed to make. im guessing he isnt running enough boost to open the valve all the way, so that causes the chatter at first. thing is, when i was running lower boost mine didnt chatter at all that i remember..weird. anyone got any other ideas?

Cut the spring down alittle and run a vac line to it only no T's. You can always put in washers if you cut too much off. A guy in the local dsm is only using three washers for 25lbs.
