2215, Which spark plugs for turbo 420A's? Posted by fly1, Feb-28-01 11:03 PM
I know this is an old topic, but I couldn't really find anything under the "search" section. So, what's the best spark plugs and gapping for a turbocharged 420A?
From previous discussions, I believe it's the NGK BKR5E-11, right? And, gap it to .04-.050?
Please, what is the current "agreed" and "accepted" best plugs and gappping?

For Turbo or Nitrous Applications, you should run 1 heat range colder than stock. If you are using NGK's and want to stay with them, use the NGK BKR7E-11 gapped at .035"... If you have to order them from a speed or automotive shop the model number 1283. Hope this helps.
