21992, s-afc and fuel pressure?

How does the s-afc work? Does it adjust the fuel pressure? I know it hooks up to the computer but how does it lean or richen the fuel.

It does absolutly nothing to the fuel pressure. it modifies the MAP sensor voltage to make the ECU think it is getting more or less air than it actually is, which in turn causes it to give more or less fuel, depending.

Is the Accel DFI the only alternate to the S-AFC right now. I mean, I know the Accel can do better fuel management, but it is alot of money. Seems to me that there should be somthing else we could use.

How's this for an affordable alternate to the S-AFC:

Think about it. I'm gauging interest in this, for a possible group buy on the EIC.

Wow.. The EIC is $350 alone. Then you have to get injectors and do all of the custom work. Not to afordable.

Well with the group buy, the EIC's drop to $275 or less. Buy small domestic injectors and a 1:1 FPR, and you have a system that costs less than a high ratio FPR, S-AFC, and big injectors.
