the instructions (if thats what you would call them) that came w/ my dfi have switch settings for the MSD not the Crane. Does anyone know the settings I need for the crane ignition?

i'd like to know what if the msd you have dosent have dip switches??? what are the "settings" for??

this is how my instructions from HRC look:


MSD DIS-2 IGNITION SWITCH SETTINGS

SW1: OFF OFF OFF ON ON ON ON ON
SW2: ON ON ON ON ON OFF OFF ON
SW3: OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF ON OFF


The only prob. is I didn't get the MSD. I got the Crane. It to has little switch settings on it. I was just wondering if anyone knew what they got set to?

yea, but what is the reason for that setting, and what happens if you dont do it?

I dont know and I dont know if I do something like that to the crane.

But if I do have to have the switches set to something I too would like to know why and what for?

I would call or email Bill, I bet he will know what it needs to be set to, i have the msd dis-2 still set to those settings, i just put them how bill said and left them, havent fxcked w/ em yet... just the 2 stage rev limiter(which is wickedly wild and backfires like a son of a bitch not to mention loads up on fuel and bogs down off the line).

The Crane doesn't have any switches. The trimpots on the one end are for the 2 stage rev-limiter. Unless you have the switches for them wired up, they do nothing. Ignore the MSD switch settings from HRC.

Has anyone installed the switch for the rev limiters? I might want to try that setup for the track.
