You CAN put a breather on it......if you want oil everywhere.

Just by asking the question, you already know the answer.

Trust me, Jay, just get a catch can--unless you like oil mist all over any surrounding parts in the engine bay. You'll need one, especially, when you start boosting. I'm talking about 2-3 shot glasses of oil a week gets passed out; imagine that on your valve cover and harnesses.

Kon, are you still using the CocaCola Type R catch can?

Not if you ever want to go to the dragstrip. The rules require catch cans so no oil gets on the strip.

jaz makes a catch can for under 35$ with one inlet port on it. It has a huge fiter on it and long as you run a hose to it you can put it anywhere you want. I actually have mine as low as possible so it vent to the ground. This is a very very worthy purchase. late mike

Here's my Tropicana Type-OJ catch can. I used to have the one from Summit racing with the drain nozzle on the bottom but it was way to big. The breather off of it though fits perfectly on the tropicana bottle.
Whatever way you decide to go, just make sure wherever you mount the catch can that it is lower than the breather pipe and that the tube runs DOWN to it. I've heard having it higher can cause slight performance problems.
Tropicana bottle, Coke Can, gatorade bottle, pretty much anything will work.

.....mmmmmm I do love the OJ!!!! :9
