ok...i have heard alot about the differences between the... i have heard a hybrid is sloppy then again i have heard the same for the 16g...which is more reliable...i am not planning on going over 15psi... ill be getting a Star stage 1 in a few....unless someone tells me they are POSs and the HRC is wonderfull....well actually i will be gettin the Star cause HRC is out of my$ range...heh someone tell me please?...PS i have a 16g sitting in y room is there anyway to get a kit without the turbo from HRC?

Neither turbo is more reliable than the other. This is the main difference...

s16g...faster spool, not as strong at top end as t3/t4 (but still very strong)

t3/t4..slower spool up time but better top end

Both are great turbos.

HRC kit does not come with a 16G. It's a Super 16G. I'm not sure exactly what hte difference is but I believe it does out flow both a 16G and the big 16G. Basically, your 16g is not the same as their Super 16G.

My choice for which kit is the HRC kit. But that is just my opinion.

The super 16g is the way to go hand down as long as you don't plan on going over 400 HP.. If you plan on not going over 400 HP haveing a t3/t4 has no advantages "."

I know i am still learning about the different turbo's, but i do know the super 16g has 2 ports on it for antifreeze cooling. I'm not too sure if the T3/T4 has them. Hooking these up i would think will prolong the life of the turbo...not to mention keeping it much cooler..just a thought..

well i have hrc stg 2 so i suppos i have the s16g? in the case that i do where would the coolant ports be? cuz i dont remember seeing any.

heh well get an oil cooler and it'll prolong the life of your turbo. The T3/T04 has only an oil input. Never driven an HRC so I got no basis for comparison but yeah t3/t4 gots massive top end 16G has faster spool up.

there are brass plugs on the s16g turbo that allows for water cooling. Only have to remove and tap from coolant lines.

I believe Jamesman is the only one that has done it.
