Hey, i was wondering if any of you are running the HKS BOV that came with the kit of did you upgrade and get something else. I just wanna know if it is a pretty good one and also how does it sound? Too loud? Too Quiet? If you upgraded, what did you get instead thanks.

I'm using it. I like the way it sounds - it just goes PSSHHHT.

Me too. Sounds fine. At 10 psi it barks a bit more the shhhhhhh sound. Function is perfect.

Dino-does yours leak above 15 psi? I cannot find a spring to upgrade the tension and wondering if it will hold.

I dunno man, I'd save those hard earned bucks cuz that HKS BOV will more than serve its purpose. Especially if you don't have to lift to shift :thumbsup Upgrading a BOV is mostly for sound. I've also heard that certain type of 'racing' BOV will not vent at low boost, they have a preset minimum level in which they ventilate.

yep HKS STD all the way. Not super loud but I don't really wanna advertise the turbo hehe, the can of whoopass that I open up will more than suffice :P

Yeah, i had pretty much planned to keep it. I guess its a good idea to save my money for the more important stuff. Only a few more dollars and the LED muffler tip is mine! :D
