i got bought a 96 talon Tsi automatic and i have never driven a turbo enough to know what to look for to see if im getting full performance out of it, and is there any thing i can do to see if its in good shape or any maintenance that should be done to it?the car runs good and all but when i push the gas pedal it has kinda of a stall to it, is that normal?i know on my other 420a it was very normal but it wasnt turbo.

That stall is most likely automatic lag on top of the turbo lag. (though the T-25 should be spooling around 2k rpm).

Run a compression test to see how the cylinders are doing. As long as you aren't leaking oil or blowing any kind of smoke, you SHOULD be fine. The compression test will really tell you how the engine is though.

By the way, if you want more people to answer questions concerning 4g63 powered cars, it would be best to post in the 1g/4g63 section. :)
