for a boost controller, can i lower the psi all the way to like 1 or 2? or does the spring in my wastegate have somethin to do with it? like if its a 7 lb. spring, will the boost controller still let me boost under 7?

A boost controller can only raise pressure higher than the wastegate spring. Never lower.

yeah, just cut a hole in one of your rubber elbows, that'll give you about 1 psi, hehe. btw, he's tellin it straight up, your wastegate spring controls your "stock" boost setting

To lower your boost, take off your wategate accuator and have it cut in half then have a double sided nut(a long one) threadded on the both ends of the actuator arm. Now just adjust the nut to leagnthen the arm. (basically you make the arm longer) You can now lower your boost! I know my instructions suck, but you get the idea
Here you can see it done on my t25
