20457, 315 injectors and ecu programming?

well i know the 315cc injectors can work without a afc etc... but i heard a datalogger is not really good good for new fuel crap i guess... but i got a friend who works for a mitsu dealer who has the ecu tool... he told me he could change the fuel/air deal WITHIN factory specs! and i know the ecu can compensate for 315cc injec since they are small, but does anyone know if its capable of being programmed with the dealer tool for it to be within specs?... if so i would be set and would not even need my afc right?

i suppose something like this is possible because my car says it has a reprogramed ecu due to a recall... i've never heard of a ecu recall on the 95 but it says they reprogramed it so it could be possible couldn't it

ya the 95's were recalled and reprogrammed because they recalled and removed the pulsed secondary air injection system and if this was not working properly or missing altogether the ECU would give a CEL that sait it was malfunctioning. so they had to remove the parameter that the ecu was monitoring on this system.

james, do you think this is possible if my friend has the dealer tool to program it within specs? or what im thinking is not possible?

hey mike, it may be possible, but i do not know the programming to say anything definite, you would have to also know how to program it, and that is somehing i have no idea about.
