I hear stage 1 or stage 2 or 3 or 4 and on and on all the time but...what are stages exactly? I mean, why call it stages when you can never really determine the stage climb up on this. after I get my set up done wich is : Green turbo, Tial 40mm WG, custom made manifold, Greddy E-manage, 660 injectors, Greddy Big FMIC, HKS 272 race cams and the mods that I have now : AEM cam gears, JE pistons, JE rings, eagle rods, walbro 255 fp etc...etc.... I mean, what stage would that put me to? I just have alwas wanted to know hehe

I guess it depends on what boost you are running. Most seem to go by this. Stage 1 around 5 psi. Stage 2 around 8-9 psi. Stage 3 around 10-15 psi, stage 4 and 5 15+ psi...this just seems to correlate with HRC's stages really...

I think people use stages as to a reffrence of what level turbosystem they hav efrom a specific manufacturer that also uses stages to label their product. In your case, you wouldn't ba a "stage anything" you woudl be the guy with the FP Green :-P. by looking at the stuff you listed, I assume you have a 4g63. is it a gs-t or x?
