i was about to cry, i installed my star stage 1 turbo kit, and everything looked alright, and i went for a test run, and after 4500 rpm..it started makin this wierd noise and it started laggin and missin....my spark plug gap right now is 50...should i change it lower, will that help? and i drove my car with the FCD on...and then i drove it with the FCD off, jus connecting the map sensor like normal, and after going on the highway like 65 mph...my engine like started missing...kinda jerkin very lil at some point...and my service engine soon light came on...what could be wrong? i found some oil in my intake pipe that connects to the intake manifold too..do i have a blown seal in my turbo?

if you are missing under boost, chances are your plug gap is too wide. Normal turbo gap shoul be between 0.029-0.035

ya, and that lower gap corresponds with a different plug.. the bkr7e NGK plug is the recommended plug..

What kind of noise are you hearing? cause when i first heard my wastegate open i taught i blew the engine. Definately change your plug gap 28-35.

your spark plug gap will definity make the car mis-fire/back-fire under hard acceleration and the increased power of boost.
