19777, HRC Stage 1 fuel system... Posted by PiKapp504, Apr-15-02 03:14 AM
Ok, I'm gonna be installing the new fuel system today to get ready for my boost and I was just wondering, can I install the fuel system, but stay n/a until I install everything else? I'm being told 2 things, yes AND no. Here's the way I'm seeing it. If I'm still n/a, the FPR won't see boost, and it'll keep the fuel pressure around 55-60psi, even @ WOT. Will I stil be able to drive n/a with the Stage 1 fuel system? I need to know fast. Thanks in advance guys!

Yes, you can do this. It will pose no problem while you remain normally aspirated!

thanks Bill! I actually chickened out yesturday and didn't do it. Also, I had a question about your SMIC. I've got a 96 Avenger and it's got ABS. Will the ABS interfere with the piping to the intercooler or will it just squeek by? I've got 117,400 miles right now and I need to keep things in the safe range until I rebuild (hopefully soon).
