I have a 99 eclipse RS automatic =(, i know.....

I have ordered a star stage 1 turbo kit for it, all my car has is an exhaust, when my turbo kit is installed, what do you think i will run in a quarter mile? and will i beat stock 5-speed GST's?

It CAN go either way. With a big T3\T4 turbo in an auto, you will have some serious lag. That's why I went with HRC. It depends if the GST driver CAN drive. As far as you're 1\4, maybe high 15's, not sure though. The auto really does hurt with a big turbo. Shogun98RS has a Star Stage 2 and is auto, but he is pushing like 18 psi and that's a different story. Since you're new, this type of question belongs to the racing section, next time!!!!!

Whats your quarter mile time with the HRC kit?

His kit isn't on his car yet, we are going to be putting it in once his gauge pod arrives!

i have an auto, and essentially a stage 2, running 8 lbs of boost. my auto is really sluggish off the line, but thats likely due to my ineffiecient intercooler design, ill hopefully be fixing that this summer (basically, with the 16g, i dont get full boost till 4000 rpms in first. thats garbage, should be closer to 3000 rpms. before i put this FMIC on, i was getting positive boost by ~2500 rpms w/ a stage 1.)

from a roll, its a completely different ball game. the other night i pulled on a lightly modded GST from a 50mph roll.

well the turbo (t3/t4)is freakin huge for someone to be only runnin 4-5psi, i would get a smaller turbo if u dont plan to go high boost. i was hitting 18psi so it wasnt bad. right now car aint runnin right cuz cat. problems preventing me to go over 11psi but as far as off the line. my 60ft times were like 2.29-2.3XX. just gotta learn to launch it right. laterz -joe
