i know how it hooks up but what do i need to do before i unhook the fuel lines? take off gas cap....and?
BTW the tank is almost full

Look on the passenger side of the fuel rail. See that service fitting? Take the cap off, poke it with a stick, and watch for flying gas. No more pressure.
