1942, Surgety Starts within a week! Posted by ThunderRIP, Feb-22-01 07:23 AM
Well Ray's car will have a heart transplant within a week, Hopefully it will get in the hospital(my garge) no later than next friday, the surgery will be performed By Dr. Ray (MWC) and Dr. Mario, rebulding the heart (motor) will be on DSP Racing hands, we will keep you posted with pics of the long operation which hopefully will end in South Florida's new monster, as soon as we go to the next step will be posting the events as they occur, and the mods list...well You'll have to wait for that one because we haven't finished it yet!

1948, Seriously, though, good luck! Posted by DarkOne, Feb-23-01 05:07 AM
I guess i'm just lucky, or my setup, despite it's age, is more robust that i imagine. I ran my car with the wastegate inproperly connected (boosted shut :-)) for about two weeks, sometimes spiking to as high as 18PSI, and i have no lasting damage, and the car still runs great. Good luck with the rebuild!
