Posted by Fast420A, Apr-09-02 04:01 AM You should run a compression test to see what your current numbers are and maybe even a leak down test if there is somewhere that you can get one done for pretty cheap. As long as your numbers look ok then the rings should have set in correctly and you can crank up the boost and change to the synthetic oil. | |

19389, RE: almost 1000 miles after rebuild. Posted by jamesman, Apr-09-02 04:30 AM I did a compression test last week and i was at 220 across all cylinders when the engine was cold. i haven't done a leak down yet , what do you think the acceptable numbers would be with 10.5 compression. | |
