I ran a search but got a bunch of "do a leak down test". None actually said what you need and how to do it.

I am not completly positive but I think you get 4 compression testers, hook em all up at once turn the key to build up pressure in all cylinders and then let it sit.
Keep an eye on which cylinder's press. drops first, which one drops at all, whcih one drops the lowest, and whcih one drops the fastest.
I think that is a leak down.

I'm not too sure, but don't compression testers have check vlaves in them to hold the pressure, to give you your total pressure? If this is the case, the pressure from the cylinder can drop, and the needle on the guage won't move. Right??

Buy a leakdown gauge. JcWhit has them for 65.00 I think. Or just go have a shop do one for you. I payed 25.00 to have one done. only took like 15 min.
Just remember anything under 10% is fine, anything more than that and you have some issues to work out.
