hey, im gonna be throwing on a stage 2 kit to my 97 gs. i just wanted to know from people who have done it if there will be any engine or transmition problems. I have had the head gasket replaced 3 times already (3rd time, new dealership this time). I think this time its acctually fixed. Anyways... yeah, so can our engines and tranny handle 8-10 pounds of boost safely? Thanks

Yes, our engines and tranny can handle 8 lbs. of boost safely. There are a lot of turbo people here with the stage 2. If you're gonna replace your headgasket again, then make sure to get the MLS Headgasket from any Dodge\Chyrsler dealer. Oh yeah, just go to search and type in 'HRC STAR' and you will get a LOT of info. Good luck!!!

Dont take adive from someone that doesnt have a 420a turbo'd. There are plenty of people running 8psi on stock internals with no problems. Just take a few more precautions. I run 10psi daily, I do a compression check once a month. So far, 3 months with ZERO problems other than cartech fpr.
