1884, GSS317 and GSS342 Posted by 95ESi, Feb-20-01 05:29 AM
I just got my fuel pump. I was checking over the pump, and was expecting to see the GSS342, but much to my surprise it the model # GSS317 was etched on the pump.
Since the GSS342 is just a high pressure version of the GSS317 (a stronger relief spring), do the GSS342 pumps have the model # GSS342 etched on them or does it still say GSS317?

LAST EDITED ON 20-Feb-01 AT 03:29 PM (PST)I, in fact, paid attention to this. It says "GSS342."
I had to send back my fuel pump after incorrect delivery the first time as well.
Get the High pressure model as well. It's a big difference at the high pressures where it counts for us until bigger injectors are bought!
