wazzup guys i just put in my weisco pistons I ordered them from Race engineering the were $369 and the the rings were $69 bucks. I ordered the neon pistons standard bore 8:5to1 compression ,took the head off pulled the pistons out got the weisco ones pressed inn onto my stock rods. I honed my cylinders with the ball type hone put everything back together I just have to break in my motor now.I was wondering with my set up what can I boost daily drivin i have the vortech Sfmu, wallbro 255high flow fuel pump and ford motorsport 30lb injectors,Small 16G from RRE. here is the # for Raceengineering 561-533-5500 ask for the neon weisco standard piston it will fit the eclipse or talon 420A too we have the same pistons as the neon. this is for you guys that don't want to drop the block,and theyhave them in stock. I got a water injection system too but it sprays through the compressor side of the turbo.I'm not gonna tune my car for water injection itz just there for insurance purposes. it actually works because I took my car too 13lbs on stock internalls and I didn't break anything i usually crack a piston at that boost level maybe I got lucky but after a while the stock pistons are so brittle the will crack on the ringlands. when I cracked my stock piston 2 weeks ago boosting high again I just decided to get some forged ones already. Can you guys give me some fuel tunning setups without using a S-AFC. and at what boost can do daily driven()

What grit did you use with the ball type hone?????

I have those same pistons tooo..! I got mine from CNNP Raceing.

I got the 30lb injectors to work since i lowered my idle fuel preassure to 35psi and the ball type hone is hard to find since my friend had one from his old school days, it gave me the good ol cross etching marks ,the stone type i couldn't get the etching marks so i returned it too autozone. can't wait to hit 500miles so i can start mashing it.any of you guys have any idea what boost levels i can run now and fuel setups with out any S-AFC

If you had rods than you would be ready for Stage 3 boost levels (15lbs) but I don't know what boost levels the stock rods can take.

bump. I didn't see an intercooler tommyboy - is that an old picture or do you not have one? What did your egt and a/f say at 13 lbs?

yes I have an intercooler guys but no EGT gauge I'm getting one this month though I got about 436 more mile to go to break in theses rings
