18679, How do you know when your HRC fuel cut def. goes out? Posted by JustOne, Mar-29-02 12:05 PM
I am haveing a hell of a time tring to get my new engine to run right. I thought it was the timing but I checked it and double checked it and it is all ok. The only thing that I can think of is that the fuel cut def. is bad. What happens when the hrc fuel cut def. goes out? (simptoms) is your idle ok if it is bad?
thanks.

Not sure if this will help or if this is your problem.!?? But I replaced my timming belt and when I got done the thing did'nt idle for $hit I was like WTF so I just checked the timing marks on the cam gears they were okay so... I said hell with it! Took it all back apart side motormount had crushed a vapor return line (two metal lines that run next two the timing cover) Quick fix was cut the line splice in some fuel injection line and that solved my rough idle... I dont know just tring to help you out??
