18642, looking for exhaust advice Posted by charger71, Mar-29-02 02:55 AM
I'm short on cash, but need better exhaust.. 300 or less would be great.. would the 2.5 pacesetter catback work?
http://inet.nopi.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsppartdetail&vmakeid=250&vmodelid=015&vcatyear=1998&vnopinum=001%2B0761&vTitle=1998%20MITSUBISHI%20Eclipse%20Exhaust%20Cat-Back%20Exhaust%20System
or can someone post a link to a muffler I could get online and then take that to a shop and have them make a 2.5 to 3" catback piping for me?

you could probably get a custom cat back made for that much

a custom catback with muffler for 150?
I would but all the shops I've called so far have had no problem until I tell them the 3" is for an eclipse, then they pretty much laugh and tell me it wonr fit and to get a kit from borla or something..
Is 2.5 big enough for an auto, and I'll be stage II in a month or so..
oh, I got my very own custom race stripe last night from some bitch construction worker next to whre my car was parked.. I cant prove it but damn its frustrating..

a pacesetter exhaust will work just fine if you are not planning on going over 300 hp. It's a good deal a lot of turbo guys here have it.

I'm using a Pacesetter as well with an aftermarket muffler. Go get it now! :-)
