18549, ic piping Posted by Twiste, Mar-27-02 12:13 PM
ok...1 question...when u have an intercooler on ur turbo, one pipe goes from the IC to the intake mani, and one goes to the turbo. My question is about where everything goes after the turbo. if the turbo is going to inject the air into the engine, then how does it exactly work. Maybe i am trying to ask where does the air start and where does it end?

Air is sucked through the filter by the turbo, compressed, and then sent through the lower IC pipe to the intercooler. It passes through the veins of the core and into the upper intercooler piping, which is attached to the throttle body. Is that good enough or are you looking for more? It is pretty cut and dry.
