18276, Flex-a-lite Radiator fans Posted by eclipserider, Mar-22-02 10:12 AM
Hey guys, I am looking at getting the FAL dual fans. Does anyone know if the turbo models have the same rad set up as us. All it says on the website is FAL dual fans for turbo applications. So I want to know if they fit first of all. Secondly if they dont fit does anyone know if the single flex-a-lite rad fans are any good and do they mount good too. And in both cases does anyone know if these fans use the existing plug ins that our cars have. Thanks for the help.

I have been wondering this too for quite some time, but I have never had a spare 400 bucks to order them and chance them not fitting and having to weld different braces on... i think the factory fans work fine if wired together, but the fal fans are a lot slimmer and they look 10x better...

well judging by the fact that all RRE does in their Fluidyne radiator is change the plumbing sides or what not.... i'd imagine so...

I know my radiator is designed for both. All they do is change were the lines enter the radiator. I have the "hump" in the middle of the radiator (for 4g63) but it isn't cut into to make the plumming for water lines.
I think they are pritty much the same. only differance in the fans is I think they might have switched sides or just used slimmer fans (I can't remember of the top of my head).
