18086, exhuast leak on wastegate

I've got a pretty good exhaust leak were the wastegate meets the manifold. I can actually see a gap behind the wastegate. The bolts are tight, and the gaskets on there. Any way i can fix this?

Try lightly grinding the surface to make it smooth and flat. Use a dremel with a grinding wheel or something like that.

Ensure it is mounted on straight. Tighten both bolts a little at a time to ensure it does not get cocked off to one side more than the other. Try using a new gasket. If you have a Star kit, Turbonetics has every gasket you would need. It is a crush type and molds in when you tighten it. Worse case is you might have to double gasket it. Not sure how that will work, but might be an option. Turbonetics requires a $25 minimum order, might want to make a list of some goodies you want before calling. Good to have extra, exhaust manifold/T3 gasket-oil return line gasket-good hose couplings-Tbolt clamps etc. etc.

Just some ideas.
