i've got the stock ngk's on my car, what should i gap them to? i changed them a few days ago and just did it to .050 (the stock gap) does this even matter much? i'm just curious. tia

Turbo cars should run a smaller gap, like maybe as low as 0.030". I don't have turbo, but have high compression and have to run under a 0.038" gap or it runs bad.

damn...maybe that's why it's been running so shitty lately. i got a cel for running too rich, bank one (#172) and so i replaced the first o2 and changed the plugs (which were all black,the o2 too) but now it's doing it again, i can smell the fuel and it's stalling at stops or in the middle of a slow turn which sucks balls because the powersteering goes out.

i took out the plugs that were in their 2 days and they were really black, i got new ones and regapped them to .030...turned it on and purred...no stalling at stop lights. i'll drive around tonite and test them out...seems to have helped.
