1800, Attention Mr. Hahn!!!

I am going turbo this spring or summer and I am confused about your stage 2. I heard it comes with a front mount intercooler but I also heard it comes with a side mount. Which does it come with??? I want a front mount cause I got a Neo Blitz front bumper(who doesn't???) and I want to do it justice. I'm leaning more toward your kit than the star but I want a fmic not a lil dinky side mount cause I also plan on rebuilding my bottom this fall so I can boost my a$$ off. }> thanx for your help

Not HRC but, the stage 2 comes with a SMIC, it can be upgraded to a FMIC for another $300

Hello there!

No, you need not be limited to a dinky little low twelve second sidemount. Check out turbosystem.com for all the info on our system and the different intercooler options we offer.

Dude by your post I will strongly recommend you to go with star's kit and here are the reasons:

Number 1: Standar FMIC
number 2: Nicer piping
Nu,ber 3: Bigger turbo
Number 4: External Wastegate

And trust me if you are planning in building your motor soon, you will want to have that big turbo and external wastegate, you should even order it with the E trim option. go to www.TurboGS.com and check it out.

Jeez Mario,

Do you have a personal vendetta going on here??

>Number 1: Standar FMIC

Can I have more specs on why this particular FMIC is better than the sidemount which I am currently using that is holding quite well??

>number 2: Nicer piping

Because it is polished? How does that make it better? Just shinier. Bigger piping? Exotic material used?

>Number 3: Bigger turbo

If you do not use it, does it matter?

>Number 4: External Wastegate

If you do not need it and can make 18psi without one, or even 25psi, is it really necessary?

How does it matter what kit he has when he builds the motor??
I think this is irrelevant. Look, I am not saying buy this or that because it is better. Whatever. I am saying think about your options and what you really want to do. What is your ultimate goal? Everyone always wants to tell everybody to buy the biggest everything possible and build the super drag racer. That can get very expensive, require lots of little extra parts, need lots of proper tuning, and lose the point of the original intention. Ask yourself this, is this going to be a street car or a race car and do you care how it drives? There are a lot of things to consider. What is the ultimate goal is always my question.

I also agree with what Murix has said in his post. Obviously, which turbo kit a person picks is a matter of preference, but I would rather be objective in my posts. The shiny pipings aren't better, nor is an external wastegate--unless you're planning on converting your car to an all-drag or running 20-25 psi boost daily on the streets. Furthermore, HRC uses an Apexi front-mount, which is known to be very high flowing; who makes the Star's front-mount? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remembered reading somewhere that it's a "Spearco-like" unit. Because of its relatively young, I believe both turbo kits will encounter certain "isolated" or unique bugs and, having tech support like HRC is a plus. Well, just my .02 cents.

Another reason you should get the Star Kit is that Wyatt is having a group buy sale until march 2nd. If you can get you cash to him b4 that date you can shave like 600+ off the regular price, but you gotta act fast. If you join the cheaper it is for you and the rest of us. Sorry not trying to rip on HRC or anything, it's a good deal for the time being.! ^_^

I want in, but my tax return won't come back until another month or so.
