i have a hrc stage 2 i boost around 6-9psi daily. i plan to buy the crane hi-di2 with boost proportion and i would like to know how much should i retard timing with my stock bottom end? i just want my engine to last a bit longer till i must do it.. i heard from Greg he retards 1 degree per psi with 10.5 compression and he also said the hrc eclipse with lower compression 8:8:1 retards 1/2 degree per psi... how do i know how much to retard per psi or should i hook up a switch to it, to activate retard around 6psi on?... what could happen if you retard to much at a certain psi or all together?... i know eric c retard timing 10 degrees from 4-7k rpm for about almost 2 yrs, but he ran up to 15psi now and then on his auto gs star kit. when is our engine seeing detox at around what psi and rpm? also we only got 91octane in so cal which sucks ass ...
