Well, as many have said, the ones that come with the kit pretty much suck. i have been to turbogs.com, but it seems Wyatts instructions arent finished yet either. anyone else know of someone who has more detailed instructions for the kit? if not we will just wing it... :-)

I can't seem to understand what the big deal is about STAR's instructions being useless? Hell, I didn't even have to look at mine, the kit is pretty much a no brainer on how its suppose to get installed. Good Luck with the install.

thanks for the info, but i already have the instructions that came with the kit, i was just wondering if anyone had some more "in depth" instructions that they had made up. no biggie though.

You really don't need more than those instructions. I had never done anything like it. and did know what half of the parts were called. But what really helped me were the pics at www.turbogs.com.
If you are stuck there is also always us!!! just post away.

Just make sure to take your time.

Yeah, instructions will never be perfect. It will be much easier for us to answer it than to point you to instructions. What's your problem? Surely someone here can answer it.

I re-used the original one.

I used the original one as well. I know several others have too. the safest route to go of course would be to replace it, but I don't think it's necessary as long as you're careful getting the oil pan off.
