i know my setup is a lil different, but anyone ever experience this?

if i floor it the a/f guage goes rich and it's all good. if i only give it partial throttle, there's a point that the psi level sneeks past 0 but (my guess) the engine isn't getting the fuel. it's like i'm giving it just enough boost that it needs more fuel, but it doesn't send it thru. when this happens the car does a nosedive and my a/f gauge goes red...lean. either way, it happens once or twice a day and is getting on my nerves. if i make a concious effort to keep the psi blow 0 when i'm not flooring it this doesn't happen, but like i said when i floor it it goes to the last green block, so i know it's running pretty rich in that case.

any thoughts? i have the cartec regulator and an inline pump if that means anything.

and it's been REALLY cold lately...i think it was hailing earlier...florida doesn't know what to do, some days last week it was like summer, some days i refused to go outside.

Unless the car is losing power and you can feel it losing power its completely normal. There are times in my car that I dont floor it but give it enough to boost and it shows red on my a/f gauge. Its normal.

Unless you have the pedal to the metal, the air/fuel gauge won't read right. It only reads properly under closed loop mode at WOT. Your bogging down could actually be due to too much fuel. What is your voltage say when you are at full boost?

interesting...i don't have the digi-read-out one, just the normal autometer one...it's more than fine at wot, i'll tell you that rite now...it could be too much fuel...now that i think about it it's doing the same thing back when i had my nitro hooked up - if i didn't have the bottle open or the nitro would be empty it would bog and do a nosedive b/c of the extra fuel and no nitro going in. hmmm. thx.

If you are using stock injectors, I would set yer cartech regulator so that yer base fuel pressure is at 50 psi and set yer bleeder valve so your WOT fuel pressure is around 105 (assuming you are running around 7-8 psi). Thats what the HRC instructions say and these numbers even read a bit rich here in Michigan.
