okay they say use the shittiest oil after the rebuild and not go into boost, but for how long? how many miles before i can start boosting. I heard 3000 miles is the break in time for the rings.
does this sound correct?

500 miles, change oil(conventional 10w30). 1000 miles, change oil(conventional 10w30). 1500 miles, change oil, and start back on synthetic. You're done.

if you start with using synthetics then you will never properly break in your rings. the lubricating properties of synthetics is so good that the rings will never wear enough to break in. so you use shitty oil so it will break in faster and you are going to change it quickly anyways so it's a waste of money.
