1678, Today is a Good day! :)

Well I satrted my new job today, and it is cake! Got home and called the shop to find out that my car is no officialy boosting, but for some reason the Downpipe on my HRC kit is running into my air conditioner. So now tomarrow I have to have them make me a new down pipe. So it looks like I will be getting tomarrow afternoon. :)
Has anyone heard of there being a misalaignment on the downpipes on the HRC kits? The shop said there is no way it even comes close to my exhaust location.
Well I will post about my drive home tomarrow. :)

Are they clocking the turbo correctly ??
It would seem weird that Everyone else's kit fits fine..
I personally do not have the HRC kit, but it would only
seem logical.

Good luck !

Thats a good question ,but I would think they had to clock it right since the lower IC pipe is set at the top with a 90 degree elbo to connect to the turbo. It would have to face the right way, hence being clocked right.

I don't see how the down-pipe could be hitting the A/C. There is plenty of room on my set-up. Where did they say it was hitting at? As for the clocking question, you can only change the clock position on the inlet side of the turbo, not the outlet because it's bolted to the manifold. What kind of IC are you selling? How much?

So I guess the fitment problem is user-error?

You're wrong.. you can rotate both the compressor/exhaust housing.. Look at your turbo carefully!

Maybe on your T3 but not on the 16G. The outlet side is one solid piece and you can only bolt it onto the manifold one way.
