can i fit a summit or rre catch can where the stock air box is with a stage 2 hrc? i have the smic but will eventually upgrade to the FMIC. and if i cant, can the catch can be mounted behind the block w/o taking out the block? thanks

yeah i mmounted my catch can there...its an absolut vodka bottle...the big one, 2 pints or something. i used an autometer tach bracket to mount it to the plastic part where the airbox used to be. ill get some pics someday

Do a search there was a post no too long ago with people posting there mounting location. RRE will ft in tight spaces. The Summit catch can is HUGE!!!!! I saw asons and any picture I've seen doesn't do the size of the can justice, there is no real good place to mount the red monster form Summit.

Go ahead... I dare yah... ;-) lol.

I just don't think mot people want to remove the intake manifold to mount a catch can... The only other I've heard of is buried deep up in the front facia on the passenger side. But it's still a HUGE can. For the same price i say go with RRE's that you actually can mount in a few places. :-)

you dont have to remove the intake manifold. just get under your car and put it in from underneath

Isn't that the Road Race catch can? The Summit one is about 3 times as big as RRE's.

geez, all you are turbo like myself, why am i the only one that has this huge cavernous space where my stock NON TURBO intake airbox was? could you guys not bear to part with the airbox so you left it there? ive got a 1 liter absolut bottle in there and i could still crawl up in that bitch and take a nap.
