any one interested? I have about 10 sets.4 are reserved already. Basically its just the 2 plates (predrilled) with gaskets. It beats taking your stocker off and pinching the pipe. Let me know

yes these are the plates that block off both the intake manifold and the head, Gaskets included. I'll let this shit go for around 30 bucks. If you live in a cold area you might not want these. Due to heated start ups. But if you think all the black shit in your intake manifold is normal get these.

I did the cheap method and it's snowing out side as I'm typing. My car runs fine with the EGR disabled.
p.s. It's in the lower 30 degree range.

So what exactly will this do for me if I block this off? I'm in VA and it RARELY get's below 30 degrees here. Shoot, it's been REALLY warm lately. Will I get a CEL if I block off my EGR? Are there any performance gains from this?

you will get a cell. I don't think there are any real performance gains. you will idle a little bit rougher than usual. but the main reason we have taken it off is because it basically just recycles exaust gases back into the engine for emissions. and with a turbo set up the pressure tends to rupture the diaphram in the egr. another solution is to get a one way valve. but is too late for me. so is coming off! :)

you will only get a CEL if you disconnect the actuator from the harness. remove the valve, leave the actuator connected, you probably won't get a CEL. Mine's been "removed" for almost 6 months.. no CEL.
