1630, Another spark plug question...i know i know

I was wondering what plugs the 4g63 comes with? I noticed the NGK
that some of you recommend to use with the turbo are hard to get sometimes...shouldn't stores be stckng the plugs for a turbo eclipse? Couldn't we use those? I'm I way off on this thinking?
1631, I use NGKs

Most non turbo guys probably use NGKs as well. In my experience the stock champions wore very quickly while the NGKs held up much better.

I do have a bit of a hard time finding them, but there is a store in my town which has them, I don't remember it's name though :(

I believe (and anyone feel free to correct me) that there is a difference. We use the BKR series while the GST/X's use the BPR series. I don't know what the difference is, but I would not take the chance personally. If you go to a Pep Boys the model/stock number is 1283. They should be able to order for you. That's how I secured mine and ordered 8 so I could have an extra set, so I am never out of spark plugs. They are like $2.72 a pop. Hope this helps.

there is a noticeable size difference in the turbo and n/a engine plugs. i went to car quest to get some NGKs and they gave me aset for a tubo eclipse and they wouldn't even fit in the plug well and i had to take them back and exchange them. whoops!

If you look at the NGK model designations, you will find that the "K" and "P" stands for the hex bolt size.
