Ok guys, I'm new to the board here. I've got a 96 Avenger I4 5spd so I'm always over on the ASOG board. I'm about to get a STage 2 HRC kit and it comes with a SMIC. My problems are I've got the stack fogs AND I've got ABS. Anyone have this SMIC and have my options have any problems with the piping and mounting? Ivf I've gotta lose my stock fogs, no biggy, small price to pay. I just don't wanna have to lsoe my ABS. Thanks folks!

ABS is overated. =P

I have the 96 Avenger with stage I and tried to put in the SM.
I telling you now and saving you a headache. Save up and get the FMIC.
Ask Armond he told me when i bought it that it wasn't going to work but i thought it would.
There is no room for the SM in there I tried nd also took it to a professional race shop and they said it wasn't going to work.
I just had my FMIC installed and I can't fit any fogs or the driverside turn back in.

So you're all telling me that even if I remove my stock fogs, i won't be able to use the SMIC? How close does the ABS come to the SMIC, or does the SMIC mount RIGHT WHERE the ABS is/was?

Exactly, The ABS isn't exactly where the SM would go but yeah it is realy in the way.
Then it is also in the way of the pipes.
Armond had to push his out of the way just for a pipe for his FMIC.
I ran the pipes to my FMIC a diff way so I had no problem excepst for no fogs and one turn will not go back in. I even have the TC 2.
There will be pics on ASOG later, maybe tonight or tomorrow.

Just mount that SMIC in the front and make it a front mount mini cooler! :)

Tony, that was gonna be my next idea, but then again, I'd have to run all custom piping....ugh. The kit I'll be getting already has the piping and what not included in the price and I'd REALLY not wanna pay for it then not use it, ya know? If I were to, say, get rid of my ABS, how hard is that to do and how would I go about doing it? Oh well...any other ideas?
