its been a long time since I have been in here, wow sure is nice to be back.
well now to the topic... my egt is in and everything is conected but the needle will not move. think is busted, but is there anyway of testing it before I buy anotherone? and if I have to buy another one, you guys know of any that are whitefaced and glow blue with the lights on?

Sure the wires are attached securely to back of gauge?? Double check the wires and where they running to make sure one didnt get snagged or cut somewhere.

Maybe you blew a fuse. Thats what happened to me when my EGT didn't work and both of my gauge lights turned off. Check that. -Dave

Ohh forgot to mention that the light does work.. the needle just does not move to show the temp.

I think autometer has guages that glow blue but not sure about EGT. go to www.autometer.com and look for the cobalt series(i think)

right now I'm in china for a bit. but I have not been on the board cus for some reason my firewall will not let me connect to the site. I guess I should just go find another egt gauge then huh?
