1598, clutches that will handle the boost?

I will be getting my STAR stage II turbo kit soon and will keep the boost pretty low for awhile say 8-9lbs. What kinds of clutches are you other turbo guys using and what are your results with those clutches?

I personally have the CFDF and haven't had any problems... They come complete, with the flywheel, so it is just easier to install as well. I am running 6 psi now and plan on turning up the boost to 8 psi. I have been running this clutch for close to a year now (only the last month boosted) and no slipping and no problems. You have to be sure to break it in properly or you WILL have problems... Know a guy that was to anxious to break it in and now he needs a new clutch after a couple of months...

Hopefully this helps.

well...i finally got to drive my car with my new Unorthodox racing stage 1+ clutch. I must say, this clutch will hold the boost, but it is kinda rough to drive. No springs in it's hub. But, it should hold a good amount of boost. Also, they are coming out with a stage2 clutch soon hopefully with a stronger pressure plate. I wish they would have had that done first. Oh well...

now, if i could just get the gaping hole in my tranny fixed, i might have a solid car again.
