If you ordered one from Wyatt, I think he includes them now.

If not, go to splitsec.com and call to get their vc-2. (set voltage clamp at 4.7 volts)

I'm in the market for a FCD (again). I'm going to try a VC-1 (since I already had it) I vaugely remember FCD's being sold as kinda universal at a friend's shop. Should I look into to this if the VC-1 doesn't work??? Does anybody know if there are some FCD's that are adjustable besides the VC-2? Anybody satisfied w/ the VC-2 and where did you get it from? I mailed Splitsec and they haven't sent me sh*t back. What's the VC-1 clamped at? Man I'm just full of questions tonight!

no i didn't get the kit from wyatt. so i'm guessing we need the VC-2 and not the FC-2? and what is the difference between the VC-1 and the VC-2? how difficult to install?

VC-1 is not adjustable and is a soft clamp. ( "soft" meaning there is an allowable amount of variation in the voltage clamp amount- probably less than 1 volt in the VC-1, a lot more in the HRC FCD)

VC-2 is adjustable and is a hard clamp. ("hard" meaning there is no variation in the amount of voltage clamped)
