Alright,

Finally after waiting five weeks, I got the kit.

The problem is I think there are some things missing. I have the early engine with the FPR on the rail. Now, in all the fuel system documentation they show a picture of a large round thing. I think its the FPR that comes with the kit. Well, I didnt get this.

Also, what does the BOV look like, cause I dont see it either.

Im mad, but then again Im happy cause I got a turbo in my lap :)

bov looks similar to those little nobs on the sweat shirts that you squeeze to move the strings through it. As for the fpr, I'm not sure. Guys?

Wow! thats umm an interesting discription. but ya, I thought this might help you out a little better. It won't look exactly like these because its a stock 3000GT VR-4 but you get the idea.

Ok, well Im missing both of those things. Its not a big deal because I wasnt going to use them, but i would like to get what I paid for. I ordered the kit from howell. SHould I call them or call HRC?

i don't think anyone has anwered your question concerning the "metal round thing"...i can't say for sure but i'm pretty sure that is the FPR that comes w/ the HRC stage II. It came w/ mine at least...good luck...and hope that helps!

Call HRC. They can walk through a parts list w/ you to see what you are missing. I have herd in cases of missing parts they shipped them out to you the next day.

Five weeks for delivery still! I have had my kit for a year now and it took them about five week’s back then. You would have thought they would have gotten a little faster. But oh well you have it now (parts of it) can’t wait to see how you like it.

Im not sure if I even want them though because I was going to get a cartech regulator and an aftermarket BOV.

When I order a BOV, do I get a universal one or model specific??

I think the 3000GT VR-4 BOV should fit directly because thats what comes with the kit.

Ummmm, the HRC kit comes with a Cartech FPR. Maybe you were thinking of buying something else to replace it???

Shoot, you are right about the FPR. I dont know what I was thinking. Ill call HRC to get the stuff corrected. Now, about the BOV. I thinking of getting either a blitz or greddy. I also thought about the turboxs bov. I have a 5spd, so Im gonna hear it. I plan on running 8psi right away, but then plan to run 15psi after the break in.

What bov would perform well for these boost levels and also be loud as hell? }> Would I order a BOV for a GST/GSX or a Vr-4?? I know its a Mitsu turbo
