Wazzup guys I put my car back together and had the 30lb ford motorsport injectors in. I started the car up and it died, I started it up and kept my foot on the gas so it would not die alota black smoke comes out smells like gas. Checked my spark plugs and damm they were filled with gas. if I let my foot off the gas the car would die because off too much fuelat idle. took injectors out and put inn the stock ones started the car and it was running ohh so smooth. Now I don't know if I can return these and get the 24lb injectors I'm gonna try. my base fuel preassure on my fuel rail with the The FPR hooked up to a vaccume line is 49. without the FPR hooked up to a vaccume source base Fuel preassure is 55. tried both wayz with the 30lb injectors too much fuel the car will die. The dealer changed my FPR a year ago some kinda recall for the 95 and 96 I'm thinking my old FPR had a lower base fuel preassure. It might of been some kinda California emission thing. I guess I need a S-FMU or a AFC to run these 30lb injectors. you guys got any suggestion on how to run these 30lb injectors or how to lower my Base Fuel preassure.()

Get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or a S-AFC. :-)

i have 30lb injectors and NO SAFC and run fine. i have the fuel pressure at idle set low using the Cartech FPR that comes with the hahn kit

the cartech you speak of, is it the rising rate? FPR

and also is your TPS workin alright? or maby the injectors are the wrong impendance (ohms a little off)

What does Hahn use to up the fuel pressure in a 96+ Eclipse? We don't have a FPR in the engine bay.

HRC supplies a rising rate FPR (the brand is Cartech/Bell) that raises the fuel pressure under boost.

Don't we still have a FPR in the gas tank? would that possibly make limit how much boost you could run???

No, FPR is just outside the tank though. A short line (about 12") runs from your pump to the stock FPR and then (in stock form) a return line runs from the FPR back to the tank.
