I see that the Tial has an adjustable mount so it can fit most flanges.

Am I seeing the picture correctly?

i know rite, my tial flubs at 3psi, kindof goes off at 5, and goes off at 8, but you can tell that even at 8 it's not doing anything.

hey thunderous, when you say the turboxs isn't that good of a BOV, what exactly do you mean? i just got a type-h and i'm hoping it's not shit. i'm only looking at putting about 8psi past it and my car has an automatic trans so that means the BOV will hardly ever be opening, so how bad could it be? somebody please tell me it's not a piece of junk!

Make sure you get a bov that can be routed back into the turbo intake. On MAS cars (all 1g and 2g T and X) there are usually idle and driveability problems when venting to atmosphere. go to dsmtalk and do a search if you're not sure what I mean.

nah, i know exactly what you mean but that's not an issue for me. my sebring has the same map sensor system as on the 2gnt. venting to atmosphere is ok. i just wanna know that the BOV itself is decent and not some piece of crud that's gonna seize up on me or something.

Hoot, did u get the H-RFL or just the H? the H-RFL is a great BOV... it doesn't leak at all. If it starts to leak, take it apart and clean the piston and cylinder with mother metal polish (or whatever its called). When its new, it gets stuck when dirt gets in there. Clean it REALLLY good though so it doesnt score the cylinder or piston. Vinnie actually put a little motor oil in that bad boy and he said it hasn't stuck at all. If you have just the type H, i think its made the same so u can do the same thing. They do replace it for free if it doesn't work, and prolly give u your money back. I got mine on ebay and returned to a store in MD and they sent one out brand new

good luck with gettin a responce. I started this whole discussion thing and after all these like responces ive got, not a single one answered my simple lil question of "does gettin a 1g or crushed 1g BOV make the whole Psssshhhhhh sound or not?"

15371, RE: Tial BOV fitament? Posted by Matt_95tgs, Feb-17-02 02:27 PM
Every BOV makes the Pshhhh shound, even your 2g BOV. When you use a BOV that vents into open atm, it is much louder since the vented air is not muffled by the intake (like your car is now). A 1g will have the pshhh noise slightly more than the one you use now, but since you won't be venting it into open atm, don't expect it to be loud.

Cut the dump tube back into the intake and even the plastic 2G one is enough to make people on the side of the road turn their head and say "WTF was that?"

if you have the hahn kit you dont need a mounting kit, itll bolt to the hahn flange:

and if your doing custom piping to add an IC, it comes with 2 flanges to use:

hey i tried that whole takin off the dump tube thing, damn that's loud as hell. Too bad it runs like total crap when its disconnected. It idles crapy and responce is crappy. But it was cool as hell when some avenger was all up beside me and that shit juss hissed. They both looked over like WTF's under his hood?
