I am helping my friend,Strauss,with all the work on his car including the turbo kit installation. My question involves the DFI included in the Stg IV HRC kit. He is planning on going with Stg III because of the price and possible tuning difficulty with the DFI. I think that for the extra $400 or so that the Stg IV is, the DFI would be much better in the long run due to the unlimited tuning that can be done and power potential possible. Due they provide a basic program with the DFI to get you started? As long as they have a programmed setup for his combo, he should be able to have it functional enough to get to the closest shop for a tune right? I'm just curious about this and would appreciate any info that you guys can provide me with...thanks! :)

Hahn supplies the basic files on the DFI's board... defuats or whatever you want to call t hem, they'll do you just fine to drive around on.
