14515, Stage 2, replacing on HRC? Posted by Grouchy, Jan-29-02 02:10 PM
Alright, I want to get a HRC Stage 2, I heard you have to replace something from the kit b/c its defective and can hurt your engine. I don't remember what it was, something to due with the fuel system? Excuse the ignorance, thanks for all the help.
Also, does the same repalcement of part(s) apply to the stage 1 kits?
Thanks a lot -Jason

the only two things i can think of it a loud ass fuel pump... and in rare cases.. the exhaust manifold (or something in that area) has warped due to high temps... but hrc is good about replacing that part with no questions asked.

Or maybe you are thinking of the Fuel Pressure Regulator. But I hear they have a new one with the kits now.

If I'm thinking correctly, you're referring to the Fuel Cut Defencer..? I can rev to 7100, and have never experienced fuel cut and I just have the factory FCD from Hahn.
I'm going to ask Bill about the FPR when I talk to him. I'll let you guys know if they're using a new one now.
