All I have to say is good luck. Considering how your motors are completely backwards from the neon and any vehicle that comes with a factory 2.4. I have a 2.4 in my neon and it is alot of work. Seems like it would be more trouble than it is worth in an eclipse. All the time and money you put into that, you can have a crazy 500-600 horse 2.0. I guess if you have more money than you know what to do with, it might be possible. Later

Good info, The way I have things planned out a stroker or 2.4L swap would be after a TEC-III install so the wiring is not a problem.

We are studying the 2.0 to 2.4 swap as I type. The siren song of 20% more displacement is just too much to resist! As much as I love the 2.0 420A, with our 2.0 RS we have run mid 11's without nitrous, and put over 500 HP to the wheels with nitrous. I feel that shows quite a lot about the engine's potential in 2.0 liter form. I am now ready to move on to the next logical step, as there is no replacement for displacement!
Just as a comparison, for you folks who are V8 aware: the difference in displacement between a 2.0 and a 2.4 is the same as comparing a 350 Chev to a 427 Chev. Yes, the 2.4 is our 'big block'!
I can't predict at this point when we will have all the answers, or even whether we will ultimately provide a 'swap kit' to you 2GNT folks, but I just wanted to let you know that this conversion is being examined closely by us. Stay tuned!

Outstanding Bill!!!
Not even a 350 to 383... 350 to 427 I like that ratio much better!
I'd love to see a kit out for the conversion.
