I might be selling my intercooler and piping IF i get better response from a stage I. I'm gonna get a little piping and run a pipe straight to the turbo and see if it's better. Now if it's coo then I'll hafta get a stage I pipe preferably one with a GReddy BOV flange..got one? I'll sell my intercooler and pipes and sleeves for a nice price. I'll be selling alot of stuff like my front bumper, AGXs, sportlines and valve cover if things come thru. THanks

umm why would you wanna not intercool your car? It gets hot you know, I should know I used to be a star stage 1 not I'm a 1.5 ^_^ And man it got hot in that engine bay, that intercooler made a big different. I hope your gonna try to water cool it or something.

I have to agree. Once I added the intercooler to my stage 1 I had no downsides except the pressure drop. Once I brought the boost back up to the same levels it was better EVERYWHERE and throttle response didn't suffer either. I think your problem is the big turbo itself or just low rpm tuning itself. The big T3/T4 doesn't exactly excel in the throttle response department, you cant nail it below 4000rpms and expect much (unless you have high compression, some intake mods and spend most days to work messing with an AFCs high/low settings) and then its just adequate. I'd trade the turbo not the intercooler.

THanks folks - I really feel the lag cuz i really baby my car. I usually shift at 3k which puts me at 2200 in the next gear where there is really no power. I hafta say that there is more response with the stage I tho - maybe it's cuz back then I used to boost alot and now i boost only when i hafta. I think switching to a T3 would be kinda expensinve and rite now i just want to maintain. Plus I live in the desert where temps in the summer reach 120!!..I'll tell you when it's over 100 boost does not exsist. I also have a leak somewhere cuz i smell burning everytime i put the car in gear going down hill or i gun it. thanks
