I made a leak tester using a pvc coupling with a threaded end on it. I drilled a hole in the pvc cap and JB welded a tire stem into it. Then I put the thing on my turbo and pressurized the pipes. I have a big leak possibly others. I had to stop testing because I had to get my piping back together before it got dark. But I did find a leak where my piping meets the intake manifold. I tightened that and its fixed. I think I have another leak somewhere though. Just fixing the one leak did give me an additional half psi. So I am happy that I am finding these leaks. After I get it all done and leak free I think I should be hitting 7 psi easy.

Sounds good. What did you use to pressurize the pipes? An air compressor?

yeah i used a compressor. It worked pretty good.

hey dude, what size of pvc pipe etc did you use ? by any chance could you post a pixs of how it looks like setup? also what end do you hook it up on the car to check it all out? and what psi did you turn it up to on the compressor ?

i just put some pressure in there..i actually used a gas station air pump. The ones where you pay 50 cents. It worked good. I have 2.5"pvc. I jb welded a tire stem in the cap. And I used one of my couplings to attach it to the turbo inlet. Just put some pressure and listen closly and feel around for air.

I have the stage II with the Stage I wastgate, and I'm only hitting around 4.2psi on average, think I may have a small leak somewhere? Send me a pic of that tester thingy too please
