hey i'm going to put a -6 steel braided fuel line from my hrc fuel pump to the fuel filter, then keep everything stock from the fuel filter to the fuel rail and fuel rail to the S-FMU. the a -4 steel braided line from the S-FMU back to the tank.
i have all the necessary fittings already.
anyone know of any problems i'll run into?

Okay i did it! regular fuel hose from the fuel tank to the HRC fuel pump, then -6AN steel braided fuel line from the fuel pump to the fuel filter with an adapter at the fuel filter. then i swapped out the 95 fuel rail to a 97-99 one and then put 315cc/min injectors in. then from the fuel rail to the S-fmu (new) and then a -4AN steel braided line from the SFMU to the return port on the fuel tank. I wrapped the -6 line with some insulation all the way it travels under the car and zip tied it to the existing line. I was going to take the hardlines out but that idea became a lost cause, cause it is too damn hard to get 2 clips out and i almost cried trying so i said fuck it. Well, changing the line to a steel braided one with insulation did quiet the noise from the fuel pump ALOT!! My hypothesis that the noise was not from the fuel pump, but actually from the fuel hardline appears to be correct, i will put a little more insulation on the hose tomorrow and see if i can completely do away with the noise, just posting to see if anyone cares...hehe
